Hello hp community, thank you a head of time for all of your effort and time on my behalf. the problem: (pictures attached) "driver is unavailable" "the drivers for this device are not installed.. I downloaded and installed from hp a 30 kb driver called 8600 class basic. i then went to the device manager on my laptop, and instructed it to update my driver (right click) by manually installing this 8600 class basic driver as the driver for my printer. i did not let windows 10 go look for a driver on the internet. having the 8600 class basic driver in place solved the problem and my. If you connected the usb cable to the computer before installing the hp driver, continue with these steps to remove the printer from the installed devices to help ensure a successful setup. otherwise skip to the next step to install the driver..
